After the campsite stay and a surf session, the next stop was Nazaré to see the famous waves the town is known for.
In reality, Nazaré felt much more touristy than expected, and the waves were only around 1.5 metres high that day, far from the huge walls of water usually associated with the place.
After the brief stop, the route continued towards Marinha Grande, where the evening ended in a beachside restaurant and an unexpected conversation in perfect German with one of the waiters.
