The second day of the Portugal road trip led to Peniche. It had been described as less crowded than Ericeira, but it felt very different on arrival.
The day began with a visit to the lighthouse at the tip of Peniche. After that, it became clear that the best known overnight spots by the sea were already packed.
In the end, a local campsite became the overnight option. The following day began with renting a wetsuit directly at the beach and spending some time surfing before moving further north.
