The Portugal road trip began with a small detour. Because of a strike by the airline, the arrival happened one day earlier, including a hotel stay near the airport.
The following day, the VW campervan was picked up, groceries were bought and a prepaid SIM card was arranged before heading straight to Ericeira.
What stood out immediately was the atmosphere. A quiet overnight spot right by the sea, only two other campers nearby and a very relaxed start to the trip.
