In recent years, I mostly supported swiss unihockey with videos and reels. At the 2026 cup final, I wanted to return more strongly to photography and deliberately focused on the emotions in the stands during the final game of the day.
After completing my duties with the two women’s games on the small field and large field, I wanted to set a different focus for the final game of the day.
That was exactly what made this assignment especially exciting for me. The atmosphere in the arena was electrifying, and the emotions in the stands were constantly tangible. On top of that, the cup final was held in Kriens for the first time. The arena provided a fantastic setting and certainly played its part in making this day a memorable one.
In the end, this did not become a classic match report, but rather a series about atmosphere, fan culture, and the emotions surrounding a cup final.
