At the end of June, we went on a trip to Chäserrugg. The mountain station alone is already special, as it was designed by Herzog & de Meuron and blends into the landscape with remarkable calm.

From there, we took the Panorama Trail Rosenboden. The trail itself was already beautiful, with wide views and ever changing perspectives of the mountains. But the real surprise came along the way: a group of around 30 ibexes suddenly appeared in front of us, with Lake Walen in the background. A truly breathtaking moment.

Beyond that encounter, it was simply a thoroughly lovely trip. We stopped for a picnic along the way, took our time, and enjoyed the atmosphere in the mountains. At the end, we returned to the mountain station once more and had something to drink together.
